Unfortunately many people who suffer from tinnitus may have been told by their GP or Specialist that tinnitus cannot be cured and nothing can be done and they will therefore just have to live with it. On hearing this news many people will feel upset, anxious, depressed and a sense of despair as they cannot imagine how they will be able to cope with hearing a hissing, buzzing, humming, ringing or whooshing sound in their head for the rest of their lives.
